HEYO!

Wanna know how I ended up deep in the world of sound and vibes? Or what keeps me chasing the next sonic spark? Tap below to dive into my story and the chaos-turned-philosophy behind it all.

Who is AULin?

Paulina “Aulin” Nuamah is a producer, engineer, mixer, and sound designer who thrives on creating immersive, genre-bending sonic experiences. She fuses acoustic and electronic textures with found sounds and innovative techniques, crafting music that pulls listeners into a whole new world. Under her artist project, Aulin, she blends orchestral and electronic elements inspired by dystopian, cyberpunk cinema. With a love for electronic pop, punk, and symphonic rock, Paulina brings a fresh perspective to every collaboration, helping artists shape their sound in bold and unexpected ways. Currently completing her Bachelor of Music in Music Production & Engineering and Electronic Production & Design at Berklee College of Music, Paulina has built a solid foundation in studio and live sound. She constantly refines her skills in recording, mixing, production, and sound design for music and visual media. Paulina’s love for music started early—at just five years old, she was already singing in Albania. Growing up across Nicaragua, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Bolivia, she absorbed an eclectic mix of sounds and styles that shaped her unique sonic identity. In 2017, she took an Ableton Live course at Point Blank Music School in London, which sparked her deep dive into music production. From that moment on, under the name Aulin, she began crafting her own sound, self-teaching, experimenting, and developing her skills until it all led her to Berklee. Now, she's training as a recording and mix engineer, live sound tech, and music producer, specializing in sound design for visual media. Whether she’s behind the console, designing soundscapes, or producing records, Paulina is all about making things sound incredible. Paulina’s already had the opportunity to intern and work in some of the best studios out there. She interned at Blackbird Studios in Nashville and currently works at Mad Oak Studios in Boston, assisting with session setups, troubleshooting, and client services. She’s also recorded at The Record Co. and Wellspring Studios (Acton, MA), picking up even more hands-on experience in diverse studio settings. As a Wadhams Production Scholar, she’s looking forward to attending sessions and Abbey Road and Real World Studios through the generosity of the Music Production & Engineering Department at Berklee.  Her live sound chops are just as solid. She interned at Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica, gaining experience in large-scale festival sound, and worked as a live engineer for Beezlo Booking Management. At Berklee, she took the lead as Head Sound Engineer and Technical Director for the Michael Jackson Ensemble, leading a team of engineers and managing both front-of-house and monitor mixes for rehearsals, while also recording promotional releases like Christmas and Valentine’s Day medleys. Paulina isn’t just about making music—she’s also about changing the game. In the fall of 2024, she joined Berklee’s chapter of We Are Moving The Needle as treasurer. In the Spring of 2025, she stepped up as president, where she’s been working to amplify opportunities for women and non-binary creators in the music industry. She’s also a board member of the Women Producers Collective, constantly pushing for more inclusivity and visibility in music production and engineering. Now, she’s actively pursuing opportunities in Los Angeles and New York City, expanding her network, growing her portfolio, and always looking for the next exciting project.

MY philosophy

Music isn’t just sound—it’s an encapsulation of the human experience. As Paul Klee said, “Art makes the invisible visible.” My goal as a producer and mix engineer is to translate that invisibility into something tangible—creating a movie in the listener’s mind through sound alone.

I take a hybrid approach, blending technical precision with creative intuition. My work fuses modern electronic production with old-school recording and mixing techniques, balancing the character of analog with the flexibility of digital. I prioritize clarity, depth, and energy, ensuring that every element serves the emotional impact of the music. Whether I’m producing from the ground up or refining a mix, my focus is on capturing the raw essence of a song—and then enhancing it with cutting-edge tools and techniques to create an immediate emotional connection the moment the listener presses play.

Every song has a space in which it exists, and my job is to guide the listener into the sonic landscape that best supports the artist's vision and lived experience. As a recording engineer, I strive to create an environment where artists and performers can focus solely on the music—a safe space to experiment, push beyond their limitations, and explore new creative possibilities.

My approach isn’t about chasing trends but rather crafting distinct, immersive soundscapes that are uniquely tailored to each artist. Whether working with independent musicians or established creatives, my goal is to elevate their music with bold, polished, and impactful mixes while preserving their individuality.

Every detail matters—from subtle automation moves to bold sonic choices that make a track stand out. I want listeners to feel deeply connected to the music—to hear every emotion, every nuance, and every intentional choice that brings a song to life. My work ensures that artists walk away with a record that not only sounds professional but also leaves a lasting impression.

I don’t just mix for perfection—I mix for impact.
